Un Splashed Petal Waves

This oil painting is a commissioned art work for one of my friends house. I came across this painting at Pinterest and made my version of it by adding the hues of blue. The gold and blue hues of the petals creates a waves in abstract way. Also, added some gold foil work which shines at night and day light as well. 

This beautiful oil painting makes me very happy, every time I looks at it. It’s vibrant color can bring lot of warmth in your beautiful space.

This oil painting is dedicated to my beautiful mom, she used to love flowers and as an artist made many floral paintings. I chose to make this painting at the occasion of Mother’s Day in loving memory of my dear mom. She was an excellent gardener as well with green thumb. 

 “ Bandish” means melodic composition in Hindustani vocal or instrumental music. This is an oil painting on 48” x 48” canvas board made for my dear friend.

When we hit pandemic in 2020, we were in lockdown for a long time. I came across this picture with beautiful mountains covered with snow and surrounded by blue sky and water, which made me think of going on vacation and I just wanted to paint my thoughts on canvas and appreciate the beauty of nature.
